Once you get into DSLR it can be really tempting to start collecting gear. New lenses, more batteries, faster memory cards, flash units, etc. The trick is to not start depending on your gear – they are a tool, not the easy answer to becoming a better photographer.
So, if you find yourself depending on your gear to “make the shot” and not finding your groove, perhaps it’s time to ditch the extras and really concentrate on improving your photography. Check out this article for some tips.
