FROM THE WEB: AN ALTERNATE RULE OF THIRDS

By now you (hopefully) have a good handle on the rule of thirds, if not read this post first. There are many more advanced ways of creating dynamic images, one method is described here by Andrew Gibson at Digital Photography School. Not all images you create will “fit” into the rule of thirds model, so having one or two alternatives to fall back on can be a big plus in helping you continue to create great photos. Check it out!
