AWARD WINNING PHOTOGRAPH ‘LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT’ {NEW YORK PHOTOGRAPHER} MANHATTAN, NY

I had flown to England specifically to do this newborn photo shoot. The baby was two weeks late and we did the photo shoot in the hospital late at night. I wanted to capture the purity of the moment and not have it feel staged – but rather incredibly real. My focus was the concept of new life, new parents and new love – some of the most powerful human emotions. A key element in the photo is the ‘Love’ tattoo on the new father’s hand – making the photo complex with both his strength and gentle unconditional love for his brand new baby and  the mother. A pure delight.
