It’s that time of year again. Finding the right Valentine’s gift for your spouse, friend, or family member can be a challenge at the best of times – so here at Jane Goodrich Photography we’d like to help take some of the frustration out of your search. So, for your photo-loving loved one out there, here are some photography-inspired suggestions:
For iPhone lovers and photographers alike, having a funky camera case that shows off their love for photography makes for an awesome gift – so check out this camera iPhone cover ($29).
Flash can be hard to work with, so in the cases where more light is needed this pocket spotlight can be a lifesaver ($30)
Nothing says “I’m a photographer” like fashionable accessories – for the well-dressed man in your life consider these gorgeous camera cufflinks ($98). For your lovely lady, or the non-cufflink types, a camera charm does the trick ($28). If your significant other is more of the outdoorsy type, check out the Gerber Steady Multi-Tool – completed with a tripod.
The bathroom or hand-held selfie is so last year, help out your android or iPhone shutterbug friend with a pocket-sized Bluetooth camera shutter controller. Or, for those instant-gratification types how about an instant film camera?
What about the kids?? Perhaps you have a tiny videographer in family, a Martin Scorsese in the making. So, why not encourage their creativity with a tiny HD Video Camera ($16)? For the DIY-kid who loves to learn how things work there’s the Konstruktor DIY Kit – a fully-functional camera they can build from scratch ($35).
In case you’re still “just friends,” or aren’t into the super-romantic (or super expensive) gestures, how about a funky tourist t-shirt ($19)?
Don’t fret, there are tons of options out there if these don’t catch your eye – photo albums, framed or stretched-canvas prints, photo mugs, or even a new camera if they’re really, really special (or if you are in the doghouse!). You can also pick up a great photography book to help improve their skills. It just so happens that I have one you might like <wink>!
